The Electrical Engineering Club Certificate in Hardware Design, or ‘EECERT,‘ is a series of six modules designed to supplement the education of Electrical Engineering students with practical experience. Six modules will be taught over the course of the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 semesters, with topics of discussion including:
Breadboarding
Circuit Simulation
Arduino
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design
Soldering
Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate that they can show to employers as tangible proof that they have learned the above skills.
EECERT is open to ECE students, with priority given to second-years. Spots in the program will only cost $10 and once you have a spot then it is expected that you will attend.
Spaces in the program are limited so we ask that you do not enroll unless you are reasonably confident that you can commit to completing all the modules.
