E2-C2 2024

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming expansion of our beloved electronics-focused competition! Last year, we witnessed incredible displays of creativity as participants tackled practical problems of their choice over a 12-hour period. With 60 participants forming 20 teams of three people each, the competition truly exemplified innovation at its finest.

This year, we're taking it to the next level. In addition to the electronics realm, we're opening the doors to other disciplines, welcoming even more participants and resources into the mix!

Save the date: February 24th, mark your calendars for a day of inspiration and collaboration. Stay tuned for further updates and registration details. Let's make this year's competition an unforgettable experience!

E2-C2 Competition

We are excited to announce E2-C2 - our first electronics-focused competition. It will be hosted on February 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in collaboration with the Elko Engineering Garage, ICE Incubator, Innovation Centre, and sponsored by CleanTecher. Gather two other friends and form a team to compete and build a device to solve a problem and present it to the panel of judges!

Uniquely, E2-C2 is an open-hardware and open-tools competition: meaning you are allowed to and encouraged to bring your own electronics and tools to help you out! But don't worry, we will have electronics and tools just in case :)

We almost forgot! All students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents will be eligible for a $325 grant following completion of the competition - not even winning it!
